The Eastenders of Cholsey by Tony Rayner
7:30pm Start
Venue: The Old School

Cost £3 - on the door, including light refreshments.

Cholsey 1000 Plus is proud to present a brand-new talk by local naturalist Tony Rayner, a resident of what he likes to call Cholsey's 'East End'. But for once it isn't the village's flora and fauna that he'll be talking about, instead the subject is his own part of the village and its inhabitants: The EastEnders of Cholsey. Tony has researched the history of the Wallingford Road and Caps Lane area both from documentary sources and from people's memories and will present a picture of the last three centuries, the houses and the people.
Come and find out about our real EastEnders at The Old School on Friday 25 April at 7.30pm.
