Cholsey 1000 Plus are doing it again! Another fantastic village event. They are putting on a Rock 'n' Roll party and everyone is welcome.
The star attraction is undoubtedly the walk-in movie: Grease. What could be nicer than sitting out on a hot summer's night watching this 1978 classic? The Cholsey Primary School grounds will be transformed into Rockville, with Betts Diner, The Grease Bucket and its very own cinema, The Roxy, plus many more to help capture that good time feel of the 50's.
Eddie Rocket's Rocking Emporium provides the music as spot prizes are awarded to the 'Coolest Danny', 'Best Sandy', the 'Rock 'n' Roll Family' and many more.
Bring along a picnic and sit out listening to the music or dancing from 7:30. Burgers, popcorn, ice creams and snacks will be available and there will also be a licensed bar. The movie begins at 9.00.
1950's Fancy Dress is not obligatory but highly recommended as Cholsey goes Rock 'n' Roll and Grease is the word
