Questionnaire design:
Flow chart
Barrie C. presented a flow chart which outlines the process. Next step; to list issues which Barrie will collation and will form the 1st step in this process.
- Identify issues we want to develop in Parish Plan
- Number of questions Brightwell 74 our aim is to have less if possible
- Types of questions Multiple options best e.g. how important not just yes or no
Barrie suggesting you draft your report fist, with an eye to what questions you need to ask to substantiate the thrust of the argument, plus evidence and reason why
Parish Boundary / Winterbrook issue want to include this.
Next steps:
- We discussed how ‘qualified’ we are to draft questions.
- Questionnaire will have smaller number of questions than Brightwell.
- More specific Quantitative e.g. How often, how many.
Chris drew our attention to who exactly do we want to influence?
Co-operative approach to solving the issues through the action plan.
Important to note that the action plan will have different audiences.
Barrie offered assistance in advising each of the groups on their questions.
It was also noted that we might need to revise time scale.

- Pilot 1 week, which will be distributed to a representative sample of parishioners (different age range and social groups) it was agreed that we should have a max of 10 people.

- 1 week pilot
- Print 30th June

- Steve to co-ordinate volunteers.
- List of delivery rounds available The Forty / Parish mailing.
English partnerships:
- Geraldine had a discussion today with Jodee re involvement in parish questionnaire.
- Jodee advised that they would be consulting with the Parish in August and felt that the questionnaire would be delivered too early for them to input any questions.
- All feedback forms from consultation to be collected by English partnerships.
- It was felt that Fair Mile development will get thrashed out between SODC and Developer / the role of English Partnerships in ‘brokering involvement’.
