Steering Group: Minutes of the Meeting held 23 March 2006

Present: Geraldine Kelly; Sue Jeffs; Barry Sheldon; Mick Woodley; Pam Kendall; Leslie Kendall; Alan Dawe; Steve Stocks; Betty Stopp

Minutes of the previous Meeting, and matters arising
It was confirmed that it should be:
Jodee Katalanos, Regeneration Manager, English Partnerships, 01344 390539

Geraldine has started writing to the Chairs of all village groups - this should be complete by next week.
Consultations at the KP Stores end of Papist Way still to do.
20 forms have been taken for the school buses.
The flier has been done for The Forty.
David Ashworth, Regional Director of English Partnerships, will be at the event from 11 to 1 p.m. on Sunday. They will also provide a display.
Dave Evans would be asked to start collating additional responses.
Alan would email amendments to Geraldine.

Consultation Event:
Geraldine and Steve would prepare the Introduction section.
For the Fun Quiz, David would revise the questions. Geraldine would also get a small prize for the first child, woman and man to get the answers right. Leslie would make a ballot box.
It was agreed to go ahead with balloons with the logo.
Hort Soc and SODC could help us with display boards. Setting up would happen on Friday night 7th April at 7.30 p.m.
Steve had done some excellent signing-in sheets.
Geraldine would organise the refreshments and helpers. 2-Hour rota slots.
Sue offered to mark the quiz entries. Geraldine to award prizes.
The displays would be taken down on Sunday, and the Boards would be collected on Monday.
It was agreed that any unused tea, coffee, and biscuits would be offered to David Beaumont and the Free Church.

Publicity
Barrie was preparing a press release, fliers, posters, and it was hoped to have a slot on local radio.
